VS Code Tips

Workspaces

• A workspace saves multiple folders open together in one window
• File → Add Folder to Workspace → add as many as needed
• File → Save Workspace As → saves as .code-workspace file
• Double-click the .code-workspace file to restore everything
• Useful when you constantly switch between project and notes

Installation

• Do NOT use code from pacman — open-source rebuild, known stability issues
• Use AUR version: yay -S visual-studio-code-bin
• This is the official Microsoft binary — stable and feature-complete
